I can hardly believe that my little Brynn isn't so little anymore! Today was her first day of pre-school! She has been so excited for this day (especially since I didn't put her in last year), but once the day finally came, she wasn't so excited.
On our way to school she was trying to hold back the tears. We took her to the store to buy her a candy necklace to put in her backpack. (She didn't like that it was empty anyway) We told her she could have it if she made it through her first day. What do you know... it was time to drop her off and the flood gates opened! We said our good-byes....

and came back to this happy face 2 1/2 hours later! She loves pre-school! She couldn't wait to show me what was in her backpack and to finally put on her candy necklace! (which she deserved! Miss Amy said she only cried long enough for us to walk out the door) She asked if she could go to McDonalds for being such a big girl! (yuck... but again, she deserved it!)

I am going to loose one fantastic shopping buddy. She loves everything about running errands... which makes it so nice! Whether I like it or not, she's officially a pre-schooler! Justin and Mommy had some fun of our own while she was off playing!

I'm pretty sure he'll keep me plenty entertained while the three girls are off at school!

Such a bitter sweet day!! I understand the shopping partner... What a good mom you are though, taking her to MC D's. That pic of Justin is adorable!!
glad to hear it went so well. she looked so cute!!
your kids are soooo cute!!! Thanks for commenting on my post. Justin will get there with the upper arm strength!! I wish we lived close so we could get the boys together for a play date!!
Oh congratulations on your first day of preschool! Brynn looks gorgeous and happy!
BTW,my whole family and I think Brynns eyes are unbelieveable!
Oh I need a Justin fix. Its been a while. I will see you Saturday at Preslie's party. But unfortunately you won't get to see her great views because the party is at a friends house that isn't up as high as her. But thats good because there is no way that many cars would fit in her driveway without going off the cliff. Its pretty scary, I made Ray drive us down.
So glad she ended up having a fun time. Isn't it awesome just having one while the others are gone.
I love that you bought Brynn a candy necklace. That's too cute. It's great she likes pre-school so much.
:)
Oh the joys of preschool. I am so glad she survived and got a candy necklace and lunch at McD's. Can't beat that day. I miss my shopping partner too - but it is fun to just have one on one time with our little ones! She is absolutely beautiful - and Justin looks absolutely filled with energy!
What a big day! She really look so happy, she is beautiful! And Justin is just as cute as ever!!
Her hair is adorable!!! She is adorable!!! :)
Such a beautiful girl and what a BIG day...1st day of pre-school is the hardest I tell ya! But sounds like she had a perfect day. Cannot WAIT to see you guys this weekend and give that cute little guy a HUG finally!
What beautiful pictures of her first day of preschool...love her hair! I remember missing my shopping buddy so much when Greta went to kindergarten. Now she's in 2nd grade. My little guy loves to run errands with me and is so good when he's out in public(and at home too!) that he makes shopping more fun!
How cute is she. I remember still to this day screaming and crying when my Mom dropped me off for my first day of Kindergarten. Now I am the most independent of all her kids. She is a beautiful little girl. I am in the same boat, kids are all in school and it's just little Sam and I all day. He is now taking 5 and 6 hour naps so really it's just me all day.
Such cute kids! Her hair is so pretty and what a beautiful smile! Glad she had a great day!
What a fun/sad/memorable day! She is absolutely beautiful! So glad she loved it! Justin is not going to know what to do with just "mommy" time...but that will be nice too! Love all the pics! I have got to update my blog , I am soooo behind!
