This is a first for us! Last year at this time we didn't know that our little guy had Down syndrome. How lucky we are now to be aware and able to participate in our local Buddy Walk! We don't know much about it, but we have heard that it is quite the experience! Each participation helps promote the importance of understanding, awareness, and acceptance. It also raises money so that our sweet Justin and other kids with Down syndrome can participate in wonderful activities that are helpful to them and also their families.
With registration, you get a Buddy Walk t-shirt, hamburgers provided by Red Robin, and many activities for the kids! There will even be a raffle! But most of all... you'll get a warm and fuzzy feeling inside from supporting your amazing buddy! I know... you're dying to find out more info!

The cost is $7.00 per individual or $5.00 per person with a family of at least 4
You can pre-register now at www.firstgiving.com/UDSF with the Salt Lake/Tooele Chapter Buddy Walk. If you register before September 4th, you are guaranteed a t-shirt! (Which we will all be wearing that day! I also need some fun ideas to separate us from all of the other Teams so they know we are supporting TeamJustin!)

It has been amazing to watch the donations grow on the right side of my blog! We are very appreciative to all who have supported us in anyway!

We have a banner for Lily. It says "Team Lily" it's easy when we "try" to go to all the Buddy Walks in Utah! Inexpensive and will last forever.

That reminds me I need to get going on our walk. We didn't participate last year either because Carter was in the hospital recovering from his heart surgery. We definitely want to go this year - we will probably see you there! Go Team Justin! His picture is cute!!
How great! You'll have a blast! We went to one near us last year and had so much fun. I guess I need to get started on our fundraiser too. It will be here before you know it!

WE ARE TEAM JUSTIN!!!!! That is the coolest thing ever. I can't wait to donate. The walk is on the same day as Shayla's BDay party but I refuse to miss it. I'm going to have to do some rearranging...
